This is a sample Homework Diary 

Children in year 5 will have reading homework set twice a week. At least one of these should be a shared reading, where the child reads aloud.The second may be an independent read by the child.

There will be spellings set on a Tuesday reading for a spelling test on a Friday – these words will be ones we have looked at as a class during the week.

The other two homework slots will be for a Literacy and Numeracy based task.
