Welcome to our school web site, which we hope will provide you with information about the life and work of our school.
Robert Mellors is a Primary School with a Nursery attached so we have children from the age of three years old up until they leave at eleven. Their time with us enables us to establish really strong supportive relationships between pupils, families and the whole school community.
We are a friendly and happy school where all children can thrive and become independent learners. We believe that learning should be exciting as well as challenging, motivating children to want to succeed. To meet this aim the school provides a rich, creative and broad curriculum where all pupils are supported to enable them to achieve their full potential. The school also provides a number of extra curricular activities for pupils both during lunchtimes and after school allowing pupils to develop talents in other areas of interest too.
The staff are committed to providing the best possible education and care for the pupils in school. Each child is valued as an individual to increase their self-image, self-discipline and respect for others and this is reflected in the positive ethos and atmosphere in school.
The school believes in working in close partnership with parents and the wider community and welcomes their involvement in all aspects of school life.
If you would like any further information about our school please do not hesitate to contact us either by e-mail or by contacting the school direct.
Yours Sincerely,
Susan Laplanche
